Multicultural Night
Each year, the students and teachers work very hard to make the Multicultural night better than the year before and this year was no different.   A distinctive international feeling was evident. Kindergarten displayed information about the African continent. First & Second grade centered on the aquatic wildlife of the Cayman Islands. Third and Fourth grade showed information about Scotland including their handmade kilts. Fifth grade displayed artifacts from the Hopi culture including dressing like kachina dolls. Sixth grade displayed information about Peru including a model of an Incan pyramid. Seventh grade had many artifacts from Equatorial Guyana.  Eighth grade displayed information about India including a model of the Taj Mahal. There was music and international dances as well. A food court offering food and drink from the various countries concluded the evening. All in all it was an awesome event!
